Following your curiosity back to yourself

Where this starts

Too tired to think, too restless to stop

You catch yourself scrolling, too tired to think but too restless to stop. Your mind feels scattered, your days full, your attention pulled in every direction. You move through life on autopilot, present everywhere except in your own thoughts, and somewhere along the way, you lost touch with the part of you that once felt curious, creative, alive.

It is not just you

This is not just you, it is all of us. We have learned to fill every quiet moment with productivity and measure our worth by what we achieve, rather than who we are. In a world that rewards speed over depth and constant doing over simply being, it is no wonder your mind feels overwhelmed and your inner world quiet.

A book left face down and forgotten
This restlessness is not a flaw, it is a signal that something in you is still awake, still searching.

Why I built ELI

I’m Jana Ganguly, founder of Elephant Lines (ELI), and I created it because I know this feeling well. After more than a decade in high performance environments across consulting, automotive, and finance, I found myself chasing success while feeling increasingly disconnected, and later, in a leadership role in digital innovation within publishing, I saw how even the book industry struggled to connect stories with the people who need them most. Stepping back made me realise that reading had always been my way back to clarity and depth, which is why Elephant Lines exists, to help you reconnect with yourself through stories that spark reflection, calm, and a sense of being fully alive again.

An invitation to walk it with me

Elephant Lines is a space to rediscover that, an invitation to walk this path with me, where reading becomes less about discipline and more about following your curiosity back to yourself. Nothing here is rushed or forced, instead you’re guided through a simple framework that helps you slow down naturally, so clarity can return without pressure or effort.
